Continuous actions of pseudocompact groups and axioms of topological group

چکیده
In this paper, we show that it is possible to extend the Ellis theorem, establishing the relations between axioms of a topological group on a new class N of spaces containing all countably compact spaces in the case of Abelian group structure. We extend statements of the Ellis theorem concerning separate and joint continuity of group inverse on the class of spaces N that gives some new examples and statements for the Cp-theory and theory of topologically homogeneous spaces.

Non-Abelian Pseudocompact Groups
Here are three recently-established theorems from the literature. (A) (2006) Every non-metrizable compact abelian group K has 2|K|-many proper dense pseudocompact subgroups. (B) (2003) Every non-metrizable compact abelian group K admits 22 |K| -many strictly finer pseudocompact topological group refinements. (C) (2007) Every non-metrizable pseudocompact abelian group has a proper dense pseudoco...
متن کاملFeebly compact paratopological groups and real-valued functions
We present several examples of feebly compact Hausdorff paratopological groups (i.e., groups with continuous multiplication) which provide answers to a number of questions posed in the literature. It turns out that a 2-pseudocompact, feebly compact Hausdorff paratopological group G can fail to be a topological group. Our group G has the Baire property, is Fréchet–Urysohn, but it is not precompa...
متن کاملOn the maximal G-compactification of products of two G-spaces
Let G be any Hausdorff topological group and let βGX denote the maximal G-compactification of a G-Tychonoff space X (i.e., a Tychonoff G-space possessing a G-compactification). Recall that a completely regular Hausdorff topological space is called pseudocompact if every continuous function f : X →R is bounded. In this paper, we prove that if X and Y are two G-Tychonoff spaces such that the prod...
متن کاملOn the Existence of Free Topological Groups
Given a Tychonoff space X and classes U and V of topological groups, we say that a topological group G = G(X, U, V) is a free (U, V)-group over X if (a) X is a subspace of G, (b) GE U, and (c) every continuous f:X+ H with H EV extends uniquely to a continuous homomorphism _?: G + H. For certain classes U and V, we consider the question of the existence of free (U, V)groups. Our principal result...
متن کاملOn the G-compactification of Products
Let β G X denote the maximal equivariant compactiίication (G-com-pactίfication) of the G-space X (i.e. a topological space X, completely regular and Hausdorff, on which the topological group G acts as a continuous transformation group). If G is locally compact and locally connected, then we show that β G (XX Y) = β G X X β G Y if and only if X X Y is what we call G-pseudocompact, provided X and...
